Dear [Recipient],

I just wanted to send you a note to thank you for taking the time to interview me for the [Job Title] position. I was very impressed with the operation and the management team that you currently have in place. I know that I would be a valuable addition to the team and could make a positive impact immediately. I have a strong [ABC] background and have a great track record that I could bring to your organization. The issues that [Name] (the production manager) and I discussed on the plant tour as his major concerns are very similar to the concerns I have successfully managed in the [Industry] industry. I feel certain that I could do the same at [Company Name].

The history and stability of [Company Name] are impressive and the location is desirable for my family and myself. I look forward to hearing from you and for an opportunity to work at [Company Name].

Sincerely,

[Your Name]
