The sample below is just a guide to help get you started. You should include any pertinent information that would make you stand out from others who have been interviewed. Your recruiter will be glad to assist you.

Sample Letter Following Interview

Dear [Recipient],

I just wanted to send you a note to thank you for taking the time to interview me for the [Job Title] position. I was very impressed with the operation and the management team that you currently have in place. I know that I would be a valuable addition to the team and could make a positive impact immediately. I have a strong [ABC] background and have a great track record that I could bring to your organization. The issues that [Name] (the production manager) and I discussed on the plant tour as his major concerns are very similar to the concerns I have successfully managed in the [Industry] industry. I feel certain that I could do the same at [Company Name].

The history and stability of [Company Name] are impressive and the location is desirable for my family and myself. I look forward to hearing from you and for an opportunity to work at [Company Name].

Sincerely,

[Your Name]
