The experiences that follow, and more, led Paige to Hardage Group where she learned a new art, recruiting! She has proven to be effective and even received Recruiter of the Month at NPA, a network of recruiting firms in which Hardage Group belongs.

Paige Semmel studied Theatre and Drama at Indiana University, with a concentration in Acting and Directing. Even from a very young age Paige was always performing so it was a natural choice! Her love of the Arts, a variety of mediums, led her down a path of life experiences that one could never compare to an educational pedigree. In her younger years she enjoyed traveling, camping, and seeing lots of live music. Paige is the mother of four amazing, intelligent children. Her greatest accomplishment in life is creating a family. Being a Stay-at-Home Mother for 22 years allowed for several volunteer opportunities. Passionate about the well-being of children, she served as President of the Child Abuse Prevention Council (among other roles) and became a puppeteer with a Kids on the Block troop where she interactively taught children about child abuse. Additionally, Paige volunteered in schools in a variety of roles. She believes in the importance of community involvement and sat on a steering committee to bring a YMCA to her hometown then subsequently served on the YMCA Board. Paige has held multiple leadership offices in PTOs, Band Boosters, and an Arts Council as well.

Paige is a professional dyer and owns a successful fiber arts business. She is self-taught in the medium of batik, a form of dyeing that uses wax as a resist with layers of dye. She then taught herself how to tie dye, learning though experimentation, patience, and lots of practice.

Paige continues to be very involved in her community. She enjoys acting in community theater, grows a large garden full of flowers, herbs, and vegetables, and still loves traveling and seeing live music with her soulmate spouse of more than 30 years.
